Talent Acquisition Manager:
Responsibilities:
Educate/Influence managers on recruitment and selection best in class/best for the business practices assisting in the development of a recruiting-centric culture.
Align team initiatives to the needs of the business while balancing the short and long, vision around candidate experience and assessment, and the ability to create strategic partnerships with senior leadership team.
Ensure recruiters are well versed in workforce planning, recruitment solutions models, Talent management systems, Internet sourcing strategies.
Monitor performance metrics of the recruiting staff on a regular basis; provide coaching, guidance and solutions as needed.
Oversee and provide direction on off-site recruiting activities including participation in job fairs and professional organization meetings.
Coordinates and manages consulting/vendor relationships as they pertain to employment advertising, placement agencies, development of college recruiting and affirmative action programs to ensure effective time to fill metrics are achieved, while managing cost per hire metrics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, 3+ years management experience with additional 7+ years experience directly related to talent acquisition, preferably in the software / consumer / small business industry, demonstrating the knowledge, skill and ability needed to produce measurable results.
Additional skills include;
Demonstrated ability to create strategy, develop executive search plans, and execute successfully on assigned initiatives.
Strong technology skills and experience with the use of an Applicant Tracking System are required.
Must have in-depth understanding of behavioral interviewing skills and candidate evaluation techniques
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels both inside and outside of Intuit. Demonstrated ability to move easily between strategic and tactical responsibilities
Human Resources Business Partner:
•Serve as a business partner to the leader(s) of the assigned client organization.
•Be responsible for HR strategies and program for clients. Expected to participate as a business partner at client’s leadership staff. May manage and provide guidance to other HR professionals.
•Handle the most complex employee-relations issues end-to-end. May inform more senior HR leaders to ensure alignment in resolving a situation.
•As an HR business partner, provides expert insight into people and organizational issues. Translates business strategies and issues into appropriate HR and OE actions.
•Understand the dynamics of the business and drives human resources practices and processes that will create an effective organization. Coaches key business leaders on leading and managing their organizations effectively. Diagnose organizational effectiveness issues and implements solutions.
•Drive the various HR operating mechanisms and initiatives within their client organization. Typical operating mechanisms include: GPTW® survey and follow up actions, Org and Talent review, and focal salary review.
•May serve as program/project lead for initiatives across the BU/FG or site organization.
•HR strategic action plan based on business needs.
•Improved performance by leaders due to coaching by the HRBP.
•Successful execution of HR driven operating mechanisms such as focal salary review, GPTW® action planning, and organization & talent review.
•Workforce plans, strategic hires and talent mobility.
•Organization and job designs.
•Leadership assessments and development plans.
•Communication plans.
•Total Rewards strategy.
•May be responsible for site Affirmative Action Plan.
•Risk analysis and risk mitigation plans.
•Resolution of the most complex employee relations issues.
•Effective and persuasive presentations appropriate for project teams and business leaders, when communicating any of the above
•Coordination and facilitation of New Hire Orientation process.
•Facilitation of training modules.
Qualifications:
•BS/BA in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or equivalent experience.
•Competent in all HR functional areas (staffing, compensation, learning & development, etc.)
•Proven HR business partner skills.
•Knowledge and experience with team dynamics and applying OE principles.
•Thorough knowledge of applicable employment laws, compensation philosophies and the HR operating mechanisms
•Comprehensive understanding of the business and/or function and its needs.
•Understanding and application of change management and process excellence principles.
